Excellent customer service and pet product

Andy in customer service was professional. It's so good to see a company that stands behind their products and gives great customer service. Petsafe you are a gem! Product is well made and meets our pet needs! My wall is 4 1/2" wide so purchased large wall entry pet door.

When there is no warranty or customer service the products deserve one star

I liked these products and have been a loyal customer for all my dogs, but as I had a recent issue, I have been attempting customer service for the last 2 months. In their packaging they advised to contact them if any issue.

I received an auto response but no further emails. I filed a BBB complaint, and they said they again responded to me. I have them my email, and they never contacted me.

This company is not ethical and I shall no longer be buying merchandise for any of my three dogs.

What an excellent company

What an excellent company. I cannot rate the customer service and product any higher. Swift, effective, informative communication with the product received to a very high standard. Highly recommend!

Great customer service

Contacted Petsafe via email as I have mislaid the outer casing of our microchip Catflap.
Excellent customer from Sabine who is going out of her way to help and has provided a work around solution in the meantime. Very helpful and prompt reply. Thank you

Expensive customer service advice!

Expensive customer service advice!
I contacted them to ask which microchip cat flap I could use to replace my infrared one and paid £61 something.
It fits in the same space but the screw holes overlap those of the infrared one - so it can’t be installed!
Contacted them again. They suggested that I could buy an adaptor - which won’t fit as the current cat flap is at the lowest point in the door panel. Or I could buy new pink infrared collar tags at £23 each! Previous experience (even when they were £7 each) is that is likely to be very expensive as cats lose their collars on a regular basis.
So I am now paying £150 to buy a new door panel into which I can fit the £61 something cat flap.
Maybe PetSafe could use some of the huge profit on their sales of pink tags to offer some basic education on cat flaps to their customer service team members!
Unsurprisingly, I won’t buy from them again.

Petsafe Big Cat Door

We purchased the Petsafe Big Cat Door to keep our pups from going into the basement where the litter box is. This product has been a HUGE disappointment! It is extremely difficult to install. It is nearly impossible to secure the product to a door without 3 people to assist. I would have returned it, but we had already cut the hole in our door. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Outstanding!!!

I use the 600m dog training collar for one of my dogs. It’s truly one of the best investments I’ve ever made (for one of my pets). Approximately a year after owning my collar I ran into into a small issue. I wasn’t sure what my options were so I decided to use the website chat option to discuss it. I have to say I was blown away at the professionalism and customer service. I will be a loyal customer for life and never hesitate to recommend.

Manners Minder not well mannered!

Customer care:
Appears to be in Ireland - it’s in Netherlands.
I tried about 6 times to speak with someone, either in a department meeting or holding for more than 25 minutes.
Item out of warranty and need to wait for item to be shipped and pass through customs and with significant delay.
I’ve bought 2 Treat and Train machines and both have needed replacement remote controls - not a great design.
Decided to buy replacement from UK supplier but they came back after 3 weeks to say item out of stock and refund will take another 10 days. In between bought a 3rd machine as needed a working device.
Called back customer care and another few calls and wasted time and item is in stock but only for customers and not for retailers - need to pay extra for shipping and wait for delivery!
So I have paid £146 for a remote control for an item that needs you to stuff paper under the batteries to stop them losing connection and where you are won’t surprised the remote breaks.
If you are supplying the UK make sure spare parts are readily available or at least easy to order without wasted calls.

Microchip cat flap is total rubbish!!

Microchip cat flap is total rubbish!!! There's a huge gap all around the door between the frame which allows a massive draft to come in!!! Absolute joke of a product. It's not fit for purpose!! Especially as energy prices are due to treble in the next month!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
